AFE FOAL SHOW – AACHEN 2026

THE CONCEPT

Arabian Futurity Europe (AFE) will return in 2026 with a new, clearly focused concept. While there are currently numerous high-prize events for older horses in Europe, there is still a lack of a real prize money platform for foals. AFE aims to close exactly this gap.

The AFE Foal Show 2026 will take place at the end of September 2026.

Eligible to participate are all Arabian foals born in Europe, born between January 1 and August 20, 2026, regardless of the sire.

For nominated starting places there is no entry fee.
The prize money eligibility applies exclusively to foals from nominated starting places, regardless of who is the owner or lessee of the foal at the time of the event.

Farm Nomination

A farm is considered nominated by the successful purchase of a breeding right at one of the following auctions:

• EBT Online Auctions (weekly, December–April)

• AFE Online Auction (end of February)

• EBT Aachen Auction (end of September)

With a successful bid, both the buyer's and seller's farm are considered nominated and receive a starting place for the Foal Show.

Prize Money

The three best-placed foals with a nominated starting place receive prize money:

Main Competition:

the best-placed foal with a nominated starting place: € 10,000

the second best-placed foal with a nominated starting place: € 6,500

the third-placed foal with a nominated starting place: € 3,500

Additional competitions:
If 10 or more filly foals or 10 or more colt foals are entered, a separate competition will be held for each.
The prize money budget per class is € 20,000.
