The Mare Owner will receive an invoice after each service rendered for the costs of semen collection, shipping, and health certificate (if requested).

Privilege SFQ as stallion manager, as well as its owners, agents, employees, and veterinarians, shall not be liable for any disease, illness, theft, or injury that may occur to the mare covered by this contract and/or the resulting foal and/or the semen during the breeding period of the mare covered by this contract.

Non-transferability

This contract is limited to the Mare Owner and may not be transferred, assigned, resold, sublicensed, given away, or otherwise disposed of, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of Privilege SFQ.

Any attempt to offer, transfer, assign, resell, or give away this breeding contract or any rights arising from it shall constitute a material breach of contract and will result in the immediate and automatic termination of this contract.

In that case, all fees paid, including the stud fee, shall be forfeited and are strictly non-refundable.

Reporting obligations for pregnant mares

All pregnancies must be reported to Privilege between the 5th and 7th month of pregnancy.

If this deadline is not met, an additional fee of € 2,000 will be charged, which must be paid before the certificate for the foal is issued.

Privilege SFQ cannot and will not be held responsible for issuing breeding certificates.

This measure ensures transparency and prevents late reporting aimed at avoiding the registration of foals or misrepresenting results.

Live Foal Guarantee (LFG)

The live foal guarantee is expressly dependent on the mare owner having the mare vaccinated against EHV1,4 in the fifth, seventh, and ninth month of pregnancy.

The mare owner must provide the stallion manager, at the time of requesting a repeat breeding under this section, with a certificate showing that these vaccinations have been administered.

The live foal guarantee with respect to the stallion shall lapse, and the stallion owner shall have no further obligations under this section, if:

  1. the mare owner does not provide an EHV vaccination certificate;

  2. the mare is replaced by another mare without the written consent of the stallion manager;

  3. the mare does not become pregnant, aborts, or dies, and the mare owner fails to inform the stallion manager in accordance with the provisions of this section;

  4. the stallion is unable to provide breeding services due to unforeseen circumstances.

Under the LFG, this contract entitles the mare owner to 1 breeding and ONE certificate per foal.

The breeding certificate will be issued when a pregnancy with heartbeat has been confirmed in the mare and ALL fees have been paid in full, including shipping costs owed to Privilege SFQ BVBA.

All amounts paid by the mare owner are non-refundable, subject to the provisions of this contract regarding breeding or semen availability.

Breeding

The stallion manager reserves the right to require a bacteriological examination or biopsy to determine breeding suitability for any mare that has not become pregnant within three estrous cycles.

The stallion manager also reserves the right to refuse or discontinue care for a mare if it is determined that the mare suffers from an infectious and/or contagious disease or if any other applicable reason exists.

In the event of such discontinuation of care, the mare owner is obligated to use another mare in order to fulfill the terms of this contract.

The stallion manager shall provide semen from the stallion designated in the contract and assumes no further guarantee for the condition of the semen after it has left the stallion manager's premises.

The mare owner is responsible for ensuring the proper handling, storage, and insemination of the semen into the mare.

Neither the stallion owner nor the stallion manager is responsible for:

  1. lost, delayed, or damaged semen;

  2. the inability of the stallion to provide semen.
