FEES

The breeding fee is determined by auction.

Privilege SFQ accepts no responsibility for the issuance of breeding or covering certificates.

The mare owner will receive an invoice for each service provided for the costs of semen collection, shipping, and if applicable, health certificates.

All pregnancies must between the 5th and 7th month of pregnancy to Privilege SFQ must be reported.
If this deadline is not met, an additional fee of €2,000.00 will be charged, which must be paid before the foal certificate is issued.

This regulation serves transparency and is intended to prevent late notifications that aim to circumvent foal registration or misrepresent results.

Additional Breeding Doses

Additional breeding doses can be purchased up to a maximum of 6 doses.

Price: €250.00 per dose (plus 6% VAT).

A frozen semen dose is defined as a single insemination dose that contains at least 300 million progressively motile and morphologically normal sperm.

LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE (LFG)

The live foal guarantee only applies if the mare was vaccinated against EHV-1 and EHV-4 in months 5, 7, and 9 of pregnancy.

The mare owner must present the stallion manager with a corresponding when applying for a rebreeding veterinary vaccination certificate.

The rebreeding rights apply exclusively to the year of acquisition of the covering and the immediately following breeding season.

Expiration of the Live Foal Guarantee

The live foal guarantee expires and the stallion owner has no further obligations if:

the mare owner does not present an EHV vaccination certificate,
the mare is replaced without written consent of the stallion manager,
the mare does not conceive, aborts, or dies and the stallion manager is not properly informed,
the stallion is not fertile due to unforeseeable circumstances.

Due to the live foal guarantee, this contract entitles the mare owner to one (1) breeding and one (1) certificate for one (1) foal.

All payments made by the mare owner are non-refundable, subject to the provisions of this contract regarding breeding or semen availability.

BREEDING REGULATIONS

The stallion manager reserves the right, in the case of a mare that does not become pregnant after three estrous cycles, to require a bacteriological examination or biopsy to determine breeding suitability.

The stallion manager is also entitled to discontinue breeding services for a mare if an infectious or contagious disease is detected or if there is another valid reason.

In this case, the mare owner is obliged to provide a substitute mare in order to fulfill the contract conditions.

The stallion manager assumes no guarantee for the condition of the semen once it has left the premises.
The mare owner is responsible for the proper handling, storage, and insemination of the semen.

DISCLAIMER

Neither the stallion owner nor the stallion manager shall be liable for:

lost, delayed, or damaged semen,
the inability of the stallion to provide semen.

NON-TRANSFERABILITY

This contract is exclusively limited to the contracting parties and may neither be sold nor transferred by the mare owner unless the stallion owner has previously given written consent.

The contract is therefore not assignable and not transferable.
