Terms and Fees

Stud fee: __________ € (plus all applicable costs). The stud fee must be paid in full before the semen is shipped.
Additional fees:
- Fresh semen collection: 100.00 €
- Health certificate: 85.00 €
- Styrofoam box: 15.00 € (refund upon return)
- Shipping costs: Depending on destination
Payment confirmation:
- Please send the payment confirmation to info@malenga-arabians.com.
- No semen will be shipped until all previous invoices have been settled.
- The breeding certificate will only be issued once all fees have been paid in full.
Contract duration:
- The breeding may not be sold or transferred and must be used in the 2025 or 2026 breeding season. If no semen is ordered or no attempt is made to achieve pregnancy, there is no entitlement to a refund or repeat breeding.

Important Contract Terms

Breeding Claim: This contract grants the mare owner a breeding by Exxon MA.
- If the contractually agreed mare does not become pregnant within three estrous cycles, the stallion owner may require a culture or biopsy to check breeding suitability.
- The stallion owner reserves the right to refuse insemination of a mare with infectious or contagious diseases. In this case, the mare owner is obliged to provide a replacement mare.
Mare Exchange: If the agreed mare becomes ill, is injured, or cannot become pregnant for other reasons, the mare owner may provide a replacement mare after prior notification of the stallion owner.
Disclaimer: The stallion owner provides fresh semen but does not guarantee its condition from the time of dispatch. The mare owner is responsible for the correct handling of the semen and the insemination.
- The stallion owner is not liable for lost, delayed, or damaged semen, nor for improper handling or insemination by the mare owner.
- If the semen delivery arrives late, the package must be refused upon delivery to avoid additional costs. Otherwise, the mare owner bears the costs.
Re-breed Conditions and Live Foal Guarantee:
- The re-breed conditions apply if the mare does not produce a live foal (at least 24 hours after birth).
- A written confirmation from a licensed veterinarian is required to claim a repeat breeding.
- If the stallion dies or no semen is available, the stallion owner offers a refund of 80% of the stud fee.

Responsibilities of the Mare Owner

The mare owner is responsible for complying with the rules and requirements of the relevant breeding registry.
The mare owner must inform the stallion owner as soon as pregnancy is confirmed.
All necessary health measures, vaccinations, and deworming of the mare must be ensured by the mare owner.
