Dear shareholders, as Heinz Mader is at the moment not available, it is my duty to share this information written by Heinz with you: Suddenly and unexpectedly Nils Ismer and I were personally informed in a ViCo by Heinz Stöckle about his termination as CEO of EBT AG for private reasons as of December 31, 2025 (see attachment). We very much regret his decision, but at the same time we are pleased that he will continue to support us as EBT as fully as he does today, organize and carry out the 2025 auction in Aachen and train and support his successor in the best possible way. We as the Supervisory Board will endeavor to find a suitable candidate to replace him as quickly as possible. It is important to us to say: This is definitely not the end of the EBT. Heinz Stöckle will continue to bring his full energy to the EBT and even further increase his shareholdings, but he would like to pass on the position of CEO to other hands in order to potentially open up new space for the further development of the EBT. We as the Supervisory Board have to respect this decision and already thank Heinz Stöckle very much for all his commitment, his energy and also his vision for the EBT.
