Breeding season and fees

  • Stud fee:  €

  • Availability: Fresh semen will be available during the 2027 breeding season.

Important contract terms:

  1. If the mare does not become pregnant, miscarries, dies, or does not deliver a live foal (at least 24 hours after birth), the stallion owner guarantees the right to a repeat breeding or a mare substitution within the current or next breeding season.

  2. Additional conditions:

    • If the mare owner still has not received a live foal (at least 24 hours after birth) by the 2029 breeding season, an additional fee of €1,000.00 per breeding will be due.

    • If the stallion is no longer available with fresh semen, the stallion owner will provide frozen semen for this contract.

Distribution and costs

  • The distribution of the stallion semen will be handled by La Movida Arabians in Krenglbach, Austria.

  • Costs for semen delivery and handling:

    • One fresh semen dose: €150.00 (including collection, processing, and packaging)

    • Health certificate: €50.00

    • Transport costs: Depending on the carrier, delivery time, and destination country.

Note: Semen orders must be placed by 09:30 a.m.!

Obligations of the mare owner

  1. The mare owner is responsible for the proper storage, handling of the semen, and insemination of the mare.

  2. For the issuance of the breeding certificate, the mare owner must inform the stallion owner as soon as the pregnancy has been confirmed.

  3. Payment terms:

    • The issuance of the breeding certificate will only take place after full payment of all costs (stud fee and service charges).

    • The stallion owner assumes no further warranty for the quality of the semen after it has left the stud farm.
