Breeding Season and Fees

  • Stud Fee: 2,500.00 €

  • Availability: Fresh sperm will be available during the 2025 breeding season.

Important Contract Terms:

  1. If the mare does not become pregnant, aborts, dies, or does not give birth to a live foal (at least 24 hours after birth), the stallion holder guarantees the right to a re-breeding or a mare exchange within the current or next breeding season.

  2. Additional Conditions:

    • If the mare owner still has not received a live foal (at least 24 hours after birth) by the breeding season 2027, an additional fee of 1,000.00 € per breeding will be due.

    • If the stallion is no longer available with fresh semen, the stallion holder will provide frozen semen for this contract.

Distribution and Costs

  • The distribution of stallion semen is carried out by La Movida Arabians in Krenglbach, Austria.

  • Costs for Semen Delivery and Handling:

    • A portion of fresh semen: 150.00 € (incl. collection, preparation, and packaging)

    • Health Certificate: 50.00 €

    • Transport Costs: Depending on the carrier, delivery time, and destination country.

Note: Semen orders must be placed by 09:30 AM!

Duties of the Mare Owner

  1. The mare owner is responsible for the proper storage, handling of the semen, and insemination of the mare.

  2. To issue the breeding certificate, the mare owner must inform the stallion holder once pregnancy is confirmed.

  3. Payment Terms:

    • The issuance of the cover certificate will only occur after full payment of all costs (covering fee and service charges).

    • The stallion owner assumes no further warranty for the condition of the semen after leaving the stud farm.
