Consideration and Agreement:

  1. The breeding client has provided Al Jood Stud with correct information about the mare.

  2. The Gestüt Osterhof AG manages the breeding with frozen semen of the stallion on behalf of the European Breeders Trust AG.

Breeding Fees:

  • Breeding fee per breeding: 2,500.00 €

  • Including semen: Each breeding agreement entitles up to two (2) free doses of frozen semen with 8 straws each, provided by Al Jood Stud to Gestüt Osterhof AG.

  • Additional doses: For a fee of 250.00 € per dose (plus shipping and handling costs), depending on availability.

Shipping of frozen semen:
The charges for transported semen, collection, packaging, handling, and shipping per delivery must be paid by the mare owner/breeding client to the center shipping the frozen semen before the semen is shipped.

Health condition of the mare:

Before the breeding client receives semen for the mare, Al Jood Stud has the right to request a health certificate from a veterinarian from the mare owner, confirming the following:

  • The mare is in a healthy breeding condition and suitable for breeding.

  • The mare and any foal are free from contagious or infectious diseases.

  • The mare has normal reproductive organs.

The mare owner must send Al Jood Stud a copy of the mare's registration documents or passport along with the signed agreement by email to Ziggy@aljoodqatar.com.

Various provisions:

  1. The breeding client agrees not to disclose any information received in connection with the fulfillment of this agreement to third parties.

  2. If the mare is leased, the breeding client must inform the stallion owner and provide proof of the lease agreement or a letter from the mare owner.

  3. In the event of an unsuccessful pregnancy, miscarriage, or lost foal, a certified veterinarian report is required before a re-breeding can take place.

  4. The breeding client must inform the stallion owner about the type of breeding (e.g., embryo transfer).

  5. Al Jood Stud reserves the right to terminate this agreement with a 30-day notice period.

Legal basis:

  • This agreement is subject to the substantive laws of the State of Qatar.

  • The courts of Qatar have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from the interpretation, application, or enforcement of this agreement.
