Services and Fees:

Covering Fee: 5,000.00 € per breeding

Payment Terms: Payment in advance.

Costs for Frozen Semen:

Production: 125.00 € per dose (1 dose = 4 straws)

Handling fee per shipment within Europe: 150.00 €

Health Certificate: 125.00 €

Transport costs: Depend on carrier, delivery time, and destination country

(All mentioned costs are subject to an additional 22% VAT if no VAT ID is provided.)
The mare owner has the option to send their own nitrogen tank to the storage in Germany to receive the semen.
Responsibilities of the Mare Owner:

Storage and Handling: The mare owner is responsible for the proper storage, handling, and insemination of the mare.

Non-transferability: The breeding and the doses are non-transferable and may not be passed on or sold to third parties without prior consent from the stallion owner.

Reporting Obligation: To simplify the issuance of the covering certificate, the mare owner must immediately inform the stallion owner of a successful pregnancy.
Contract Duration:

The contract duration is two breeding seasons.

If the mare does not become pregnant, suffers a miscarriage, or dies, the mare owner has the right to a repeat covering in the current or following breeding season.

If the mare does not become pregnant after two breeding seasons, the contract is considered fulfilled, and there is no entitlement to a refund or repeat covering.

If the mare does not deliver a live foal, the mare owner must provide a veterinary certificate with the birth date, date of death, and cause of death within seven days.

If the mare dies, a veterinary confirmation is also required.
Legal Basis:
-
This agreement is subject to the laws of Italy.
-
Disputes will be settled before the courts of Italy.
Contract Conclusion:
This contract is only valid if it is fully completed and signed and returned to the stallion owner within one month of receipt.
