Terms and Conditions for the Rate & Win Contest

1. Who can participate

  • Only natural persons who have reached the age of 18 are eligible to participate.
  • There are no restrictions regarding the place of residence.
  • Participation is not linked to the purchase of goods or services.
  • However, the issued shopping vouchers can only be redeemed during the Aachen Auction Weekend on 27.09.2025 and are valid for all items and services offered there.

2. Participation fee

  • A participation fee of 20 € is charged for entering the competition.
  • The participation fee is used exclusively to cover the event costs.
  • No further payments are required from participants that could result in an additional chance of winning.
  • The participation fee is paid online during the registration process.

3. Participation period

  • The competition begins on 19.09.2025 at 12:00 pm and ends on 27.09.2025 at 6:00 pm CET.
  • After the participation period ends, online participation will be automatically deactivated.
  • Participation after the end date is not possible.

4. How to participate

  • Participation takes place online via the website of European Breeders Trust AG.
  • Participation is only possible after successful payment of the participation fee.
  • Further information about registration and participation is provided on the website.

5. How does the competition work

  • The goal of the competition is to estimate as accurately as possible the total amount achieved from all sold Lots at the Aachen Sale.
  • The estimate must be submitted online no later than 27.09.2025 at 18:00 CET.
  • The auction starts on 27.09.2025 at 20:00 CET.
  • The three participants whose estimates are closest to the actual total amount achieved will win.
  • In the case of identical estimates, the date and time of submission will decide. The earlier submission will be preferred.

6. What can be won

  • 1st place: Shopping voucher worth €4,500
  • 2nd place: Shopping voucher worth €3,500
  • 3rd place: Shopping voucher worth €2,000
  • The vouchers can only be redeemed during the Aachen auction weekend on 27.09.2025 and are valid for all items and services offered there, both online and on site.

7. How will the winner be notified and the prize paid out

  • The winners will be announced on the website of the European Breeders Trust AG.
  • Additionally, the winners will be notified by email.
  • The shopping vouchers will be sent to the winners by email.

9. Exclusions from participation

  • There are no further exclusions from participation.

10. Notes on Data Protection / Consent

  • The data will not be passed on to third parties.

11. Miscellaneous

  • Legal recourse is excluded.
  • The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
