Master contract – Exagon OS No. 2025

This contract is made between:

Privilege SFQ
Heizijde 174/1
2300 Turnhout
Belgium

AND:
Owner or lessor (hereinafter referred to as mare owner)

Information about the mare:

  • Name of the mare:
  • Date of birth:
  • Color:
  • Sire:
  • Dam:
  • Reg. number: (a copy of the pedigree is required)

Fees:

  1. The stud fee is _________ (plus 6% VAT) for one covering.
  2. The stud fee must be paid in full upon signing the contract and before shipment of the semen.
  3. Non-payment renders the contract void. The stud fee is non-refundable.
  4. A breeding certificate will only be issued if:
    • the mare is pregnant,
    • a heartbeat has been detected, and
    • all fees have been fully paid, including shipping costs.

Pregnancy Notification:

  • The mare owner must report the pregnancy between the 5th and 7th month to Privilege SFQ or Gestüt Osterhof.
  • This can be done online: https://ebt-trust.com/en/pages/breeding-certificate.
  • If the deadline is not met, an additional fee of €2,000 will be charged. This fee must be paid before the breeding certificate for the expected foal is issued.

Liability:

  • Privilege SFQ, the stallion manager, their representatives, employees, and veterinarians assume no liability for:
    • Diseases,
    • Injuries,
    • Theft, or
    • Contagious diseases,
      that may affect the mare, foal, or semen.

Live Foal Guarantee (LFG):

  • Requirement:
    The mare owner must vaccinate the mare against EHV1,4 in the 5th, 7th, and 9th month of pregnancy.

  • The mare owner must provide proof of vaccination when applying for a repeat breeding.

  • The guarantee expires if:

    1. No EHV vaccination certificate is provided.
    2. The mare is replaced without written consent.
    3. The mare does not become pregnant, has a miscarriage, or dies and the stallion owner is not informed.
  • Important:
    This contract entitles to one breeding and a certificate for one foal.


Breeding Conditions:

  1. The stallion owner may have the mare examined if she does not become pregnant after three estrous cycles.

  2. The stallion owner may refuse breeding if:

    • the mare is ill, or
    • there is another valid reason.
  3. The stallion owner supplies semen from the agreed stallion but does not guarantee its condition after leaving the premises.


Neither the stallion owner nor the stallion manager are liable for:

  • lost,
  • delayed, or
  • damaged semen.

Important:
This contract is not transferable and may only be amended with the written consent of the stallion owner.
