Cover contract – Exagon OS No. 2025
This contract is concluded between:
Privilege SFQ
Heizijde 174/1

Belgium
AND:
Owner or landlord (hereinafter referred to as mare owner)
Information about the mare:
- Name of the mare:
- Date of birth:
- Color:
- Sire:
- Dam:
- Reg. Number: (a copy of the pedigree is required)
Fees:
- The stud fee is 5,000 € (plus 6% VAT) for one mating.
- The stud fee must be paid in full upon signing the contract and before shipping the semen.
- Non-payment renders the contract void. The stud fee is non-refundable.
- A covering certificate will only be issued if:
- the mare is pregnant,
- a heartbeat has been detected, and
- all fees have been paid in full, including shipping costs.
Pregnancy reporting:
- The mare owner must report the pregnancy between the 5th and 7th month to Privilege SFQ or Gestüt Osterhof.
- This can be done online: https://ebt-trust.com/en/pages/breeding-certificate.
- If the deadline is not met, an additional fee of 2,000 € will be charged. This fee must be paid before the covering certificate for the expected foal is issued.
Liability:

Privilege SFQ, the stallion manager, their representatives, employees, and veterinarians assume no liability for:
- Diseases,
- Injuries,
- Theft, or
- Epidemics,
that may affect the mare, foal, or semen.
Live Foal Guarantee (LFG):

Requirement:
The mare owner must vaccinate the mare against EHV1,4 in the 5th, 7th, and 9th month of pregnancy. -
The mare owner must provide proof of vaccination when applying for a re-mating.

The guarantee expires if:
- No EHV vaccination certificate is available.
- The mare is replaced without written consent.
- The mare does not become pregnant, has a miscarriage, or dies and the stallion holder is not informed.

Important:
This contract entitles to one mating and a certificate for one foal.
Breeding conditions:

The stallion holder may have the mare examined if she does not become pregnant after three estrous cycles.

The stallion holder may refuse mating if:
- the mare is ill or
- there is another valid reason.

The stallion holder provides semen from the agreed stallion, but does not guarantee its condition after leaving the farm.
Neither the stallion owner nor the stallion manager are liable for:
- lost,
- delayed, or
- damaged semen.
Important:
This contract is non-transferable and can only be changed with the written consent of the stallion owner.
